Low Cost Airline: The country is going to get another airline. This budget airline Air Kerala has got approval from the Civil Aviation Ministry. After getting the NOC from the government, Air Kerala plans to launch its services in the year 2025. Initially, Air Kerala will use three ATR 72-600 aircraft. It will connect small cities like Tier 2 and Tier 3 of the country. Air Kerala has announced the receipt of NOC by holding a press conference in Dubai.

Air Kerala will provide affordable aviation services to small cities
Last year, Smart Travels Agency founder Afi Ahmed bought the domain name airkerala.com for 10 lakh dirhams. The Kerala government first planned about Air Kerala in 2005. According to the report, the airline will start flying next year. Air Kerala plans to provide affordable aviation services to small cities. Ayub Kallada said that now we will try to get Air Operator Certificate (AOC) by purchasing aircraft. Apart from buying aircraft, he is also trying to lease them.
International flights will also start after there are 20 aircraft in the fleet
Before starting international flights, Air Kerala will have to operate regional flights. After the airline has 20 aircraft in its fleet, Air Kerala will also start international flights. Afi Ahmed said that our first international flight will be to Dubai. After this, we will start services on other routes as well. An initial investment of around Dirham 11 crore will be made on Air Kerala.
