Ghaghra flowing above the danger mark in Gonda
The Ghaghra river in Gonda, Uttar Pradesh is flowing above the danger mark. Water has started filling in the Nawabganj area. Apart from this, traffic has been stopped on Dhemwa Ghat Road in view of the flood situation. There has been erosion at many places in Aili of Tarabganj area.

Heavy rain likely in eastern parts of UP
Heavy rain may occur in many areas of UP today. According to the Meteorological Department, an orange alert has been issued for heavy rain with thunderstorms in eastern Uttar Pradesh’s Shravasti, Bahraich, Siddharthnagar, Basti, Kushinagar, Maharajganj and other Terai areas including Deoria, Gorakhpur, Sant Kabir Nagar, Gonda, Balrampur etc.
It rained in Delhi on Tuesday
Due to sudden rain accompanied by strong winds in Delhi on Tuesday, people had to face traffic and waterlogging problems in many areas. The city’s primary weather station Safdarjung Observatory recorded 30.8 mm of rain between 11:30 am and 02:30 pm.

Due to heavy rains in various states of North India, from normal life to transport system has been disrupted. At many places, there is waterlogging on the roads and at some places there is water on the tracks. At many places, bridges have been washed away. In such a situation, Northern Railways has released important information. Railways has issued an order and cancelled a total of 20 trains of UP-Delhi route.
