Karnataka: CM Siddaramaiah said that BJP and JDS leaders adopt hit and run tactics in front of media, he will expose the issue in Assembly.

Karnataka’s Siddaramaiah government is surrounded by allegations of scams. Opposition parties are constantly targeting Chief Minister Siddaramaiah over alleged financial irregularities in the government corporation. Amid the targeting of the government and their plans to raise the issue of Mysuru Urban Development Authority ‘scam’, CM Siddaramaiah said that it is not in his nature to sit quietly for fear of politically malicious criticism. He said that he has an answer to every word of the opposition.

Made this allegation on BJP-JDS

Siddaramaiah accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Janata Dal Secular (JDS) of adopting a ‘hit and run’ strategy by lying to the media. He said that this will not be allowed in the Assembly.

Will not sit silent for fear of criticism

CM Siddaramaiah wrote on social media platform X, ‘How much of the allegations of opposition parties are true? How much lie? We will expose it in this House. It is not in my nature to sit silent for fear of politically malicious criticism.’

He said, ‘I have an answer for every word of BJP and JDS leaders. It is not like lying to the media till now and standing somewhere far away and firing in the air. This is the House, there is no place here for your ‘hit and run’.’

Let us tell you that the issue of illegal transfer of money related to Karnataka Maharishi Valmiki Scheduled Tribe Development Corporation Limited came to light when its Accounts Superintendent Chandrashekhar P committed suicide on May 26. Also, in the suicide note, it was alleged that Rs 187 crore related to the corporation was transferred unauthorizedly from its bank account. Out of this, Rs 88.62 crore was illegally transferred to various accounts which allegedly belong to well-known IT companies and a Hyderabad-based cooperative bank, among others.

CM’s wife’s name also came to the fore
Scheduled Tribe Welfare Minister B Nagendra resigned on June 6 after allegations were made against him. He is currently in the custody of the Enforcement Directorate (ED). The Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) case is related to the fraudulent allotment of plots to land losers by the authority, including the plot given to Siddaramaiah’s wife Parvathy.
