Maharashtra BJP President Chandrashekhar Bawankule on Friday raised questions about voter ID cards. He said that there are more than 3000 voter IDs in Dhule and Malegaon assembly constituencies in which the ID card number, photo, everything is the same. He questioned that when the Election Commission has made everything digital, why did they not see this? How will the same people vote in Dhule as well as Malegaon.
The BJP President said that I think this has happened in 30-40 assembly constituencies of Maharashtra. We have complained to the Election Commission today. Chandrashekhar said that action should be taken against the officers who are working in this way. He said that BJP has put forward its demand. This is a big conspiracy because these are especially the votes of a particular community.
BJP ready for Maharashtra elections
Earlier, Chandrashekhar Bawankule said that BJP is ready for the assembly elections to be held in a few months. It will work hard to ensure that all the candidates of the ruling alliance win the elections. He said that Union Ministers Bhupendra Yadav and Ashwini Vaishnav discussed election preparations with the 30-member core group of BJP in a meeting held on Thursday. He said that discussions will continue during the day as well.
BJP’s state conference will be held tomorrow
Bawankule said that about 5,300 delegates will participate in the BJP state conference to be held in Pune on Sunday. The first session will be addressed by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, while the second part of the conference will be addressed by Amit Shah. He said that BJP has started preparations for the elections. We also discussed the Panchayat elections. We will do whatever it takes to win all the seats.
