Nowadays, cases of extra-marital affairs causing rifts in relationships are coming to the fore. Sometimes in these cases, the matter is limited to quarrel and divorce, and sometimes it takes a deadly and bloody form. One such case has come to light from Datia district of Madhya Pradesh. Here, when a young man saw his wife and her lover locked in his own house, he became mad with anger. He killed both of them by cutting them with an axe kept in the house itself. The husband reached the police with an axe in his hand soaked in blood and said that ‘I have come after cutting my wife and her lover.’
After committing the murder, the man also surrendered himself to the police. On receiving information about the incident, the police sent both the bodies for post-mortem. When the police reached the spot, they were shocked to see such a brutal murder in the room. When they asked the husband the reason behind the murder, he told the whole story. He told that he already had doubts about his wife and her lover.
Wife’s relative is her lover
The husband accused of killing his wife and her lover is a resident of Bagh village in Civil Line area of Madhya Pradesh. He told the police during interrogation that his wife Pooja Vanskar was having an affair with his distant relative. He had doubts, but his doubts turned into certainty when he saw his wife and relative locked in their own house.
What is the whole matter?
The husband saw Pooja’s relative roaming around the house on the day of the incident. Shortly after that, Pooja asked her husband to go to the market. The husband was already suspicious. He did not leave the house and go to the market, but stayed on the way for some time. After some time, he returned to his house. When he reached home, he saw that the door was locked from outside. He knocked the door loudly. After knocking the door for a long time, when he saw his wife’s relative in the bedroom inside the house, he became furious.
During police interrogation, the husband told that he picked up an axe kept in the house and attacked the relative with the axe. When his wife came to save him from this, he killed her too. The husband said that for the past 6 months the relative had been visiting the house.
