Dhaka: 778 Indian students have returned home amid nationwide curfew and fierce violence in Bangladesh. Right now several thousand students are in touch with the Indian Foreign Ministry. Let us tell you that more than 105 people have been killed in the Bangladesh violence. After this, Prime Minister Hasina has imposed a nationwide curfew. The Indian Foreign Ministry and the Embassy in Dhaka are monitoring the entire development 24 hours a day to ensure the return of indigenous students and their safety and are helping them.

So far, 778 Indian students have returned to India through various land ports. Apart from this, about 200 students have returned home by regular flight services through Dhaka and Chittagong airports. The Indian High Commission in Dhaka and our Assistant High Commission are in regular contact with more than 4000 students left in various universities of Bangladesh. Arrangements are also being made for their return. Along with this, they are providing all kinds of necessary assistance.

Nepal and Bhutan also getting help
The Indian Foreign Ministry said that due to violence in Bangladesh, students from Nepal and Bhutan are also being helped by India. On the request of the governments of both the countries, India is providing all possible help to evacuate the students of these two countries. The Foreign Ministry said that students from these two countries have been allowed to enter India. Along with this, they are being given full help.
