During this, about 20 people who went to visit the National Park got trapped in the overflowing water.

After the drain of the National Park overflowed, the Forest Department got information about the people trapped in it, immediately after which the employees of the department reached the spot to rescue them. A human chain was formed with the help of the employees of the department to go from one side of the drain to the other and with the help of this chain, people were made to cross the fast flowing drain. All the people have come out safely.

Due to heavy rains in the city, Tulsi lake overflowed which is a relief news for Mumbaikars. After the overflow of the lake, Mumbaikars were facing a drinking water crisis, now they will get relief from it.
Heavy rain continues in Mumbai
Today, Mumbai and its suburbs received intermittent heavy rains due to which water accumulated in many areas of the metropolis. Local train services are currently being operated normally. According to the India Meteorological Department, Mumbai received 91 mm of rain in the last 24 hours till 8 am on Saturday. While its eastern and western suburbs have recorded 87 mm and 93 mm of rain respectively.
IMD also said that Nagpur and Vidarbha region are likely to receive heavy rains on Saturday and extremely heavy rains in the next two days. Along with this, the Meteorological Department has advised people not to leave their homes unless it is necessary.
