Actually, on Monday, the engine and coaches of Bihar Sampark Kranti Express train going from Darbhanga to New Delhi split into two parts. However, there was no loss of life or property in the incident. The incident took place near Khudiram Bose Pusa station of Samastipur-Muzaffarpur rail section of East Central Railway. Regarding the incident, it is said that 12565 Bihar Sampark Kranti Express train was going from Darbhanga to New Delhi. During this time, the coupling of the train broke near Khudiram Bose Pusa railway station.
After this, the engine of the train moved forward with a bogie. The remaining coach was left behind along with the guard coach. The train moved ahead by more than 100 meters. After the incident, the loco pilot of the train saw that the coach of the train had separated from the bogie after the engine and was behind and the engine was moving ahead. The loco pilot immediately applied emergency brakes and stopped the engine and informed the local station and the railway department about the incident.

After receiving the information, the workers and officers of Samastipur and Sonpur Railway Division reached the spot. Where after a lot of hard work, they managed to attach the parts of the separated engine and bogie of the train. After this, the train was sent ahead after about one and a half hours. During this time, the operation of the train on Samastipur Darbhanga rail section remained disrupted till about 11:30 am. The train reached Muzaffarpur station with a delay of four hours.
Here DRM Vinay Srivastava said that an investigation team has been formed for a high-level investigation of the matter. In this case, the senior section engineer and MCM have been suspended with immediate effect. Further action will be taken after the investigation report comes.
