Action has also been intensified on SP leader Moid Khan, the main accused in the rape of a minor girl in Bhadarsa, Ayodhya. Moid is accused of illegal occupation of ponds and government lands.

According to the police, the victim of Ayodhya rape case does not have a father. Her mother and sisters run the household with the money they earn from labour. It is alleged that two and a half months ago, the victim was returning home after working as a labourer.
