Delhi News: Agencies are in action mode after the Old Rajendra Nagar coaching accident. Investigation campaign against coaching institutes has been intensified. Strict action is also being taken if violation of rules is found. Mayor Dr. Shelly Oberoi said that the properties of coaching institutes are being sealed for violating building bylaws. He said that the basements of 34 coaching centers running illegally in Western, Central and Najafgarh zones have been sealed.
Sealing action was carried out on the basements of 23 coaching centers in Western Zone, 8 in Central Zone and 3 in Najafgarh Zone. He said that notices were given to 14 coaching centers in Central Zone. After receiving the notice, 6 coaching institutes vacated the place. Sealing action was taken on the basements of 8 coaching centers. He said that the action is part of a comprehensive effort to ensure compliance with safety rules and prevent future incidents.

He said that a survey is being conducted to identify coaching institutes and properties violating rules in the basement. The Mayor said that the Municipal Corporation will continue to take strict action against properties violating building construction rules.
The MCD is committed to strictly implement building bylaws and ensure the safety of citizens including students. Let us tell you that on July 27, three students died due to waterlogging in the basement of Rao IAS Coaching Center. UPSC aspirants are continuously protesting against the incident. After the Old Rajendra Nagar accident, the Delhi Municipal Corporation team is also in action mode.
