TMC state president demands resignation from Giri

Ramnagar MLA Akhil Giri also went to the spot after getting information about the matter.

The minister said that a part of the embankment has collapsed and some shops are on the verge of being washed away into the sea. Shopkeepers set up their shops a few meters away. Their livelihood is in danger.
They set up their stalls on forest land about 20-25 meters away. They will vacate the area once the embankment is repaired. The officials came at midnight and demolished the shops.
