Prime Minister Modi called the Ukraine visit historic and said that the Prime Minister of India came to Ukrainian soil for the first time

Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared a video on Friday after his historic visit to Ukraine. Along with this, he described the visit as special in his post and also called Ukraine an important friend. Let us tell you that in this visit, PM Modi had a meaningful conversation with President Zelensky and assured to personally contribute to ending the ongoing war with Russia.

At the same time, Prime Minister Modi wrote on X that my visit to Ukraine was historic. I came to this great country with the aim of further deepening India-Ukraine friendship. I had a meaningful conversation with President Zelensky. India firmly believes that peace should always prevail. I thank the government and people of Ukraine for their hospitality.

 

Solution of Ukraine-Russia conflict

Earlier, PM Modi discussed with President Zelensky here and stressed the need to talk to each other to find a solution to the ongoing conflict between Ukraine and Russia. He said that India is ready to play an active role in every effort for peace.

PM Modi reached Kiev by special train

At the same time, India and Russia have been friendly countries for a long time. In such a situation, different meanings of Prime Minister Modi’s visit to Ukraine are being sought. PM Modi reached Kiev on Friday morning by a special train.

Meaning of Kiev visit

The Prime Minister’s visit to Kiev is being seen as a diplomatic balance in many circles, as his visit to Russia had caused resentment in Western countries. About six weeks before the Kiev visit, PM Modi visited Russia, in which he had in-depth discussions with President Putin on the issue of ceasefire.

Attempt to restore peace

Before the Kiev visit, Modi had talked to Zelensky during the G-7 summit in Apulia, Italy in June. During this, Modi had told the President of Ukraine that India would make all possible efforts in favor of a peaceful solution to the Ukraine conflict. He had said that peace can be restored only through dialogue and diplomacy.
