New Delhi: The Kejriwal government’s troubles in Delhi may increase. Leader of Opposition in Delhi Assembly Vijender Gupta said on Monday that the memorandum submitted by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLAs to President Draupadi Murmu demanding the dismissal of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government for alleged violation of the Constitution has been sent to the Home Ministry.

Gupta claimed in a statement that the Delhi government’s failure to constitute the Sixth Delhi Finance Commission and not taking any action on the CAG report is a violation of the Constitution. A delegation of BJP MLAs met the President on August 30 and submitted a memorandum, urging immediate intervention amid the constitutional crisis in Delhi due to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal being in jail.

Sharing a letter received from the President’s Secretariat, Gupta said, ‘The President has taken cognizance of the memorandum and sent it to the Home Secretary.’ He said that he has urged the Home Secretary to take immediate and appropriate action on the matter.

Kejriwal’s wife Sunita Kejriwal had said this

This is the reason why Prime Minister Narendra Modi is afraid of Arvind Kejriwal. She said that after the formation of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in Haryana, the people here will also get facilities like Delhi and Punjab.
