Amaravati: The matter of adulteration in the Prasad of Tirupati Balaji temple of Andhra Pradesh is in discussion. Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan made a big announcement on Saturday. He said that he will do penance for 11 days to please Lord Venkateshwara after the incident of alleged adulteration of animal fat in Tirupati laddus distributed as Prasad came to light. He said on Twitter, “After 11 days of penance, I will visit Tirumala Sri Venkateswara Swamy.” Pawan Kalyan, who came into politics from the film industry, said that he will start ritual penance from Sunday at Sri Dashavatara Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Namburu of Guntur district.
Pawan Kalyan gave information on Twitter
Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan posted a post in this regard on the social media platform ‘Express’. He wrote in the post, “I am deeply saddened on a personal level by the attempt to spread impurity in the Prasad of Sri Tirupati Balaji Dham, the center of our culture, faith, belief and devotion, under malicious efforts, and to be honest, I feel very cheated from within. I pray to Lord Venkateswara to give strength to us and all the Sanatanis with his causeless grace in this moment of grief. Right now, at this very moment, I am seeking forgiveness from God and am taking a vow to atone for the initiation of penance and after eleven days I am going to do penance. I am taking a vow to fast. In the latter part of the 11-day Prayashchit Diksha, on October 1 and 2, I will go to Tirupati and have a personal darshan of the Lord and ask for forgiveness and then my Prayashchit Diksha will be completed before the Lord.”
CM alleges adulteration in Prasad
He prayed to the deity to grant him the power to do ritual purification to atone for the alleged sins committed by the previous YSR Congress Party government. Jana Sena founder Pawan Kalyan wondered how the employees and board members of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) could remain unaware of these alleged irregularities. TTD is officially responsible for the maintenance of Sri Venkateswara Temple located in Tirupati. Let us tell you that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu had claimed in the recent meeting of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) Legislature Party that the previous YSR Congress government did not spare even the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple and used substandard material and animal fat in making the famous Tirupati Laddus.
