Aam Aadmi Party convenor Arvind Kejriwal addressed the public for the first time after resigning from the post of Chief Minister. He held a ‘Janta Ki Adalat’ at Jantar Mantar in Delhi. Former Deputy CM Manish Sisodia was also present with him during this time. Addressing the public from Jantar Mantar, he told what he had talked to the CBI in jail.
Manish Sisodia said that we have come to Jantar Mantar to be charged. There is disappointment among the people that Arvind Kejriwal has come out of jail but he is not the CM. The happiness is that he has come among us by breaking the locks of the jail. I was in jail for 17 months. I was happy when I came out but I was more happy when Arvind Kejriwal came out. When they did not find anything, they conspired and put some people in jail.
26 years old friendship
He said that their effort was to break it, when it did not break from outside, they tried to break it from inside. Look at their shamelessness, CBI said that Manish Sisodia gave Kejriwal’s name. I was told in jail that look Kejriwal has taken your name, you take his name and you will be saved. I used to tell him that you are trying to separate Laxman from Ram. No one in the world has the power to separate Laxman from Ram. I have a 26-year-old friendship with Arvind Kejriwal. He is my political guru.
Had to beg in front of people
Manish Sisodia also said that Sanjay Singh and I were put in jail on the basis of false statements but SC said that nothing will happen with these statements. I was told that your wife is ill and son is studying abroad. They also seized 10 lakh rupees from my account, my son studies in college, I had to beg in front of people to pay his fees.
