IndiGo Bomb Threat: The cases of bomb threats to airlines are increasing continuously. Meanwhile, on Saturday (October 19, 2024), 5 IndiGo planes have received bomb threats. Five flights of Akasa Airlines have also been threatened with bombs. IndiGo said that it is aware of the situation related to flight number 6E 17 from Mumbai to Istanbul.

Passenger safety is the first priority

The company said, “The safety of passengers and crew is our top priority and we are working closely with the concerned authorities. We are taking all necessary precautions as per the guidelines.” IndiGo said in another statement, we are aware of the situation related to flight 6E 11 operating from Delhi to Istanbul. Bomb threat to international flights

Earlier, late Friday night, international flights were threatened with a bomb. Air India Express flight IX 196 was threatened with a bomb through email, it had 189 passengers on board. This flight was landed at Jaipur International Airport at 1:20 pm. However, during the investigation, nothing suspicious was found on a thorough search of the plane.

Earlier, bomb threats were received in three international flights, which later turned out to be false. As a precaution, the route of one plane was diverted to Frankfurt. According to a Vistara spokesperson, three planes flying from Delhi had received security threats on social media on Friday (October 18, 2024), after which all the concerned officials were immediately alerted as per protocol.

Officials said that Vistara planes flying from the national capital to London, Paris and Hong Kong had received bomb threats, which later turned out to be false.
