Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav held a cabinet meeting. Before that, CM Mohan Yadav addressed the ministers and said that they should observe the procurement centers set up for soybean and paddy purchase. Chief Minister Yadav said that if farmers are facing any problem in procurement, then bring it to the notice of the concerned department.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that soybean is being procured in the state from October 25. Procurement will be done till December 31. So far, 2 lakh 4 thousand metric tonnes of soybean has been procured from more than 77 thousand farmers. About 20 thousand metric tonnes of soybean is arriving every day.
During this, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Minister Govind Singh Rajput said that paddy procurement has started from December 2. So far, 2810 metric tonnes of paddy has been procured from 428 farmers. 1184 procurement centers have been set up for paddy procurement.
He said that 7 lakh 68 thousand farmers have registered online for paddy procurement. He informed that till 4 December, more than 97 thousand farmers have booked slots for selling the produce at the procurement centers.
The Madhya Pradesh government informed that 859 metric tonnes of paddy has been purchased in Balaghat district, 519 in Satna, 252 in Singrauli, 205 in Mandla, 173 in Betul, 171 in Anuppur, 149 in Katni, 135 in Rewa, 111 in Maihar, 61 in Sagar, 43 in Shahdol, 42 in Sidhi, 30 in Narsinghpur, 28 in Narmadapuram, 25 in Panna, 6 in Damoh and 1 metric ton of paddy has been purchased in Mauganj district.
