Maharashtra: Two people died due to sulfur tank explosion at Bageshwari sugar factory in Partur in Jalna district

A district official has given this information. The official said that this accident happened on Thursday afternoon at Bageshwari Sugar Factory in Partur.

The official said that when work was going on in the sugar mill, a sulfur tank exploded. The deceased have been identified as Ashok Tejarao Deshmukh (56), a resident of Sindkhedraja and Appasaheb Shankar Parkhe (42), a resident of Partur. One person is admitted to the hospital due to injuries.

Use of fake letter to get government job

On the other hand, a case of fraud has come to light in Maharashtra to get a government job. Thane police has registered a case on the charge of using a fake letter in the name of a government official to get a job in the Excise Department. Giving information about the case, the police officer said that last year a fake letter with the seal and name of a top officer of the Excise Department was sent to the Thane Government Hospital. In this letter, instructions were given to conduct medical examination of two candidates selected for the department.

This is how the fraud was revealed
The police officer said that after the medical examination, one of the candidates was appointed to the post of Excise Sub Inspector in Murbad of the district and the other in Shahpur area. A complaint received later revealed the fraud related to the appointment and forgery in the documents. The officer said that a case of fraud and forgery was registered at Wagle Estate police station on Thursday on the basis of the complaint of the State Excise Superintendent and investigation is being done.
