Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has accused the Congress of dynastic politics, claiming that the party “insulted Dr Manmohan Singh…. it is sad that even during his death, the Congress is indulging in dirty politics.”

Devendra Fadnavis on Manmohan Singh Demise: Former Prime Minister of India and veteran leader Dr. Manmohan Singh said goodbye to the world on Thursday, 26 December at the age of 92. He breathed his last at AIIMS, Delhi. Manmohan Singh handled the command of the country very well as Prime Minister for 10 years. Not only this, he was an economist who made a huge contribution in rescuing India from a serious economic crisis. Manmohan Singh was a great politician, but even after his death, politics in his name is not ending.

The recent case is of Maharashtra, where Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has accused the Congress of dynasty politics and claimed that the party insulted Dr. Manmohan Singh. That too because he did not come from the Gandhi family. In fact, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis posted on Instagram and wrote, “The whole country is mourning the death of India’s great economist and statesman, former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh. We are all in grief, but meanwhile I am also saddened by the fact that even during his death, Congress is doing dirty politics.”

‘Manmohan Singh insulted by Pakistan, Congress remained silent’

CM Devendra Fadnavis alleged that because Manmohan Singh did not come from the Gandhi family, Congress kept insulting him. He wrote in his post, “We have seen many such strong leaders being insulted before, just because they were not from the Gandhi dynasty. We have seen such occasions when our Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh was insulted by the Pakistani Prime Minister, but Congress never came forward in his support.”

As India mourns loss of a great economist & statesman, Former PM Dr. Manmohan Singh ji, what pained me is the dirty politics by congress party even during someone’s death.

In the past we have seen many insults of such tall leaders just because they were not from Gandhi dynasty.…

PV Narasimha Rao and Pranab Mukherjee were also mentioned

Accusing Rahul Gandhi, Devendra Fadnavis said, “Even his (Manmohan Singh) Disqualification Ordinance was torn by Rahul Gandhi. There have been many occasions when Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi insulted Dr. Manmohan Singh ji. Not only Manmohan Singh, but late PV Narasimha Rao, late President Pranab Mukherjee also had to undergo such insults by leaders of their own party and dynasty.”

The Chief Minister further wrote, “Even the mortal remains of PV Narasimha Rao were not allowed to enter the AICC headquarters. All these incidents keep reminding us how dangerous dynastic politics is for democracy and the preservation of the essence of the Constitution!”
