A painful news of an accident is coming out from Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. A bus full of passengers has fallen into the Indus River in the area. According to the information, all these passengers were going in a procession to attend a wedding ceremony. According to the information received so far, the bodies of at least 16 people have been recovered from the accident site so far.
How did this accident happen?
According to the information given by the ‘Dawn’ newspaper, the bus with which the accident happened was going from Astor to Chakwal district of Punjab. However, on the way, this bus fell into the Indus River from the Telchi bridge. At least 16 people died and a woman was injured due to the bus falling into the Indus River.

Regarding this incident, the police has informed that at the time of the accident, all the people sitting in the bus were going to attend a wedding ceremony. Local police is on the spot after this accident in the mountainous Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. The search for other people sitting in the bus is still on. It is feared that the death toll may increase further.
26 people died in Balochistan
Earlier last week, a suicide bombing took place at the railway station in Quetta, the capital of Balochistan province of Pakistan. 26 people were killed in this and about 62 people were injured. According to the information, after this incident, the Pakistan government has suspended all rail services coming to and going from Balochistan for four days from Monday for security reasons.
