Udaipur: A case of rape of a French tourist has come to light in Udaipur, Rajasthan. The accused also partied with the girl in a cafe before the incident. After this, the accused lured the tourist and took her to his house. Here a heinous incident happened with her. The incident is of Badgaon police station area of the city on Monday late evening. Woman’s health deteriorated after rape
In the FIR, the victim told that on Monday she had gone to a cafe located at Tiger Hill in Badgaon police station area to party. After the party, a young man forcibly took her out and raped her. After this, her health deteriorated. Police station officer Puran Singh said that the victim has told the entire incident to the DSP. The police is also interrogating the cafe owner in this case.
Victim admitted in private hospital
The police officer said that in the FIR lodged by the victim, it was told that on Monday evening she had attended the party organized in the cafe. After the party, a young man forcibly took her out and raped her. After this incident, her health deteriorated. She is getting her treatment done in a private hospital.
Police is searching for the accused
Udaipur SP Yogesh Goyal said that after the report given by the French woman in Udaipur’s Baragaon police station, the police has started investigating the matter. After the report, the police have questioned the cafe operator. The SP says that the search for the accused youth is on. Considering the seriousness of the case, every aspect is being investigated closely. This matter has become a matter of concern regarding the safety of foreign nationals in the city.
