A gang war erupted in Ritoli, Rohtak, between the Himanshu Bhau gang and the Sunny and Ankit alias Baba Ritolia gang, resulting in multiple rounds of firing, one death, and several injuries.

A gang war broke out at a liquor store in Rohtak on Friday evening at 5:30 PM between the Himanshu Bhau gang and the gang members of Sunny Ritolia and Ankit alias Baba. Both gangsters are residents of Ritoli village. Ankit alias Baba and Sunny are brothers, and there is a long-standing rivalry between them and the Himanshu Bhau gang. Himanshu Bhau sent five or six shooters to kill Sunny Ritolia, who owns a liquor store in Ritoli village. When Sunny was unloading liquor from a vehicle at the store, Himanshu Bhau’s gangsters opened fire on him. 57 rounds were fired from both sides, which has been confirmed by the police. Sunny’s Fortuner car had twenty bullet marks. One of Sunny’s associates was seriously injured in the incident.

Several Gangsters Injured in the Gang War

Firing also took place from Sunny Ritolia and Ankit alias Baba’s gang. Four gangsters were injured in the exchange of fire. According to the police, three members of the Bhau gang were shot, one of whom, a young man named Deepanshu, died before reaching a private hospital in Jhajjar. Two other men are undergoing treatment at the hospital. The deceased has been identified as Deepanshu, a resident of Asoda village, Jhajjar district. Rohit alias Resco is currently receiving treatment.

Both Gangsters Abscond After the Gang War

After the gang war, everyone fled the scene. Upon receiving information, the Shivaji Colony police station in Rohtak reached the spot. The injured man was sent to Rohtak PGI for treatment. Gangster Sunny Ritolia owns a liquor store in the village. This liquor store in Ritoli village belongs to gangsters Sunny and Ankit alias Baba Ritolia, who is the leader of the Baba gang. The shooters who opened fire were from the Himanshu Bhau gang.

How the Gang War Started

On Friday evening, Sunny was at the liquor store. He had been out on bail for about a year in a murder case. His employee, Anil, was with him at the store. A vehicle had arrived to unload liquor at the shop. Sunny’s associate, Deepak, was with him, riding in a Fortuner. At that moment, a Fronx car arrived and opened fire. Sunny managed to escape. The windows of Deepak’s car were shattered, and he sustained gunshot wounds to his shoulder and side of his abdomen. Everyone fled upon hearing the gunfire. More than 50 shots were fired from both sides. Bullets were also found in a shop with a closed shutter next to the liquor store.

Four deaths have occurred in this gang war so far.

Both gangsters are from the same village. A gang war has been ongoing between them since 2021. Sunny’s uncle was murdered in June of this year. Three murders had already taken place in this gang war before this incident. This was the fourth incident. Sunny had murdered Bhau’s uncle. The two were once good friends. Ankit Baba and Sunny are real brothers. The rivalry stems from a dispute during their school days.

Jhajjar DCP Crime Amit Dahiya stated that a gang war involving firing took place in Ritoli, Rohtak, between gangsters associated with Himanshu Bhau and Sunny Ritolia. One of Sunny Ritolia’s associates, Deepak, was shot and is admitted to PGI (Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research). Three of Himanshu Bhau’s men were also shot. One of them has died, while the other two are undergoing treatment.
