A road accident on the Karnataka-Kerala border, the bus suddenly failed and collided with the bus waiting area and an auto-rickshaw, 6 people died in the accident

A road accident took place on the Karnataka-Kerala border. On Thursday (August 28) near Talapady area, the brakes of a KSRTC bus going from Kasargod to Mangaluru failed and it collided with the bus waiting shed and a rickshaw. 6 people died in this road accident. At the same time, 7 have been injured.

According to the information, six people including four members of the same family died in this road accident. The dead include five adults and a minor girl. This accident happened around 1:12 pm. When the bus came and collided with an auto-rickshaw and a bus waiting shed. The injured have been admitted to local hospitals for treatment.

Auto-rickshaw driver died

Manjeshwar MLA Ashraf, while giving information about this road accident, said that 6 people have died in the accident. The dead include the auto-rickshaw driver and the passengers in the auto. The condition of two people waiting for the bus at the bus stop is critical and they are undergoing treatment. Some other people have also been injured in the accident.

Which 6 people died?
The deceased have been identified as Haider (auto driver), age 47, Avamma, age 72, Khadija, age 60, Hasna, age 11, Nafeesa, age 52 and Ayesha Fida.

Officials are investigating the matter to find out the exact reason behind the failure of the bus brakes. KSRTC and traffic officials are inspecting the bus to find out the fault and how the brakes of the bus suddenly failed. Also, maintenance standards can be evaluated. KSRTC and Road Transport Department officials rushed to the spot to provide immediate relief and assistance. Police and rescue teams made coordinated efforts to handle the situation and help the affected families.
