A tragic incident has emerged from the Mahesh Nagar police station area of Rajasthan. A student preparing for the NEET exam committed suicide by hanging herself. The deceased was reported to be 17 years old. When the student’s partner returned from coaching, he found her hanging. Upon receiving information, police arrived at the scene, took custody of the body, and sent it for a postmortem.
According to reports, the student was a resident of Sikandra in Dausa district. She committed suicide at the Chaudhary Girls PG in the Triveni Nagar area of Jaipur. She was preparing for the medical entrance exam, NEET. Her roommate had gone to coaching on Wednesday morning and returned around 1:30 pm.
Body found hanging from a noose
When she arrived at the PG, the door was locked from the inside. Her roommate knocked and called out, but received no response. She then informed the PG operator and other girls. They all pushed the door open and found the student hanging from a noose inside.
The family is inconsolable.
Upon receiving information about the incident, Mahesh Nagar police arrived at the scene and inspected the scene. Police collected evidence, took the body into custody, and sent it for a postmortem. The deceased’s family was then informed of the incident. The student’s family was devastated upon learning of the incident.
Police investigating the case
Station in-charge Suresh Yadav stated that the student had come to Jaipur in June to prepare for the NEET. Initial investigations suggest that the suicide may have been due to study stress. No suicide note has been found. Police are examining the student’s mobile phone and other belongings to determine the actual cause.
The police are also investigating the circumstances under which the student was living and whether her family or teachers were aware of her stress. Currently, the incident has created an atmosphere of panic among students in the area.
