A vehicle in Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s convoy hit a traffic DSP. A Scorpio in the Chief Minister’s motorcade struck the DSP, who was on duty, from behind, injuring him. He narrowly escaped serious injury. Police officers present at the scene managed to assist the DSP. The vehicle was stopped by police officers who signaled it to stop from behind; otherwise, a more serious accident could have occurred.
CM Nitish had arrived to inspect the watchtower
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had arrived to inspect the facilities being provided to the devotees attending the Prakash Parv (birth anniversary) of the tenth Sikh Guru, Shri Guru Gobind Singh Maharaj. While the Chief Minister was inspecting the watchtower near the Prakash Punj (a structure commemorating the Guru’s birth) at the Didarganj market committee, a Scorpio in his convoy hit the traffic DSP who was on duty. The DSP fell to the ground.
During the inspection, the CM said that once the watchtower is completed, devotees will be able to see the Prakash Punj more clearly from there. The watchtower complex is being made green and attractive. A pond is being constructed, along with arrangements for walking and seating, so that devotees and local people can benefit from it.
After the inspection, the Chief Minister inspected the newly constructed OP Sah Community Hall in Malsalami, Patna City. During the inspection, the Chief Minister obtained detailed information about the facilities being provided to the devotees. The CM also gave necessary instructions regarding cleanliness and security. The devotees present there greeted the Chief Minister, expressed their gratitude, and said, “You have made excellent arrangements. You have taken care of all our needs, and we are all very happy. Thank you very much. No one else could have made such good arrangements.”
