Aaj Ka Mausam: Delhi-NCR’s morning in the lap of fog, cold day alert in UP, know from IMD when will you get relief?

Fog and cold wave continue to wreak havoc on Delhi. A sheet-like layer of fog has engulfed Delhi-NCR. At the same time, the ice-cold cold wave is making one shiver.
At 6 am on January 26, visibility remained near zero. People were seen protecting themselves from the cold by lighting bonfires. Due to dense fog, services of trains and flights are being affected for a week continuously. Most of the trains are late from their scheduled time.

Meanwhile, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said that the morning and cool day of January 26 will be partly cloudy with moderate to dense fog. It was also told that there will be no respite from fog even on January 27. But, a good news was also given that there is hope of relief from fog on January 28. Let us know where the rain alert is?

The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of light rain in Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Odisha. At the same time, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain in Andaman and Nicobar Islands till January 27. If we look at the Skymet Weather report, dense to very dense fog may occur in many parts of Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar during the morning and night. At the same time, dense fog may occur in parts of North Rajasthan, North Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal, Odisha and Northeast India.

Many trains and flights late

On Thursday, at least 45 flights from Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport were delayed due to dense fog and low visibility. Over the past two weeks, the cold wave in the northern region of India has continuously disrupted flights and rail operations to and from the national capital. A railway official said that apart from flights, 24 trains coming to Delhi are also running late due to dense fog.
