Aam Aadmi Party convenor Arvind Kejriwal has resigned from the post of Chief Minister on Tuesday, September 17. He submitted his resignation to Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena. After Kejriwal, Atishi will now be the new Chief Minister of Delhi. Immediately after Kejriwal’s resignation, Aam Aadmi Party has shared a video on its social media. Kedriwal was lodged in Tihar Jail for 6 months
Arvind Kejriwal, who was caught in the liquor scam, was arrested in March, he was lodged in Tihar Jail of Delhi for the last 6 months. Last Friday, he was released on bail by the Supreme Court. After coming out of jail, on Sunday, he announced to leave the post of Chief Minister. His decision surprised everyone. Kejriwal had said that he will not become CM until the public gives him a certificate of honesty.
