Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and Shiv Sena chief Eknath Shinde made a big claim on Sunday regarding the Delhi Assembly elections. Eknath Shinde said that 15 candidates of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) had asked him for his party’s election symbol to contest the Delhi Assembly elections, but he refused due to ‘yuti dharma’.
15 AAP candidates contacted Shinde
Shinde said, ‘A total of 15 candidates of Aam Aadmi Party had contacted me. I felt that if they got the ‘bow and arrow’ election symbol, the votes would be divided between BJP and Shiv Sena, which would benefit other parties. That’s why I refused. The Shiv Sena chief said that he had to respect the yuti dharma (commitment to the alliance).
