New Delhi: All the opposition leaders including AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi and Shashi Tharoor have put forward India’s side in a strong manner abroad forgetting the political opposition on Operation Sindoor, but Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is calling this war as the surrender of PM Narendra Modi. Owaisi returned to India on Tuesday and as soon as he returned home, he distanced himself from Rahul Gandhi’s statement.
Owaisi said that how to explain to Rahul, how to react to his statement, it is for the Congress leaders to think. As far as he is concerned, he will definitely ask questions on the Pahalgam attack and ceasefire in the monsoon session of Parliament starting from July 21.
What did Rahul Gandhi say about PM Modi?
Rahul Gandhi had given a statement about PM Modi and said, ‘Trump called from there and indicated that what are you doing Modi ji? Narendra, surrender. And by saying ‘yes sir’, Modi ji followed Trump’s indication.’
Discussion in Pakistan on Rahul’s statement
Since Rahul Gandhi’s statement suits Pakistan’s narrative, every news channel in Pakistan has made Rahul Gandhi’s statement a headline and debated on it. Most of the TV channels in Pakistan are targeting India and Prime Minister Modi on the pretext of Rahul Gandhi’s statement.
Leaders of the Indi alliance also distanced themselves from Rahul’s statement
Now even the leaders of the Indi alliance are not supporting Rahul’s language. RJD MP Manoj Jha said that in politics, words should be chosen carefully. The dignity of language should be kept in mind. Manoj Jha said that the entire opposition is fighting together against the BJP but this is not the time for party politics. Therefore, one should speak thoughtfully.
It is worth noting that Rahul’s statement came at a time when the All Party Delegation became the voice of India abroad. Many Congress MPs are also included in these delegations. Leaders like Shashi Tharoor and Asaduddin Owaisi, forgetting political opposition, strongly presented India’s side abroad.
