After the Supreme Court Collegium amended its recommendations, the Central Government issued a notification for the appointment of Chief Justices of eight High Courts.

Chief Justices were appointed in a total of eight High Courts including the Delhi High Court on Saturday. These appointments have been made by the Supreme Court Collegium on Tuesday after making some amendments in its recommendations of July 11. The Central Government has also issued a notification for the appointment of Chief Justices of eight High Courts. Justice Manmohan, Acting Chief Justice of Delhi High Court, has been appointed as its permanent Chief Justice, Justice Rajiv Shakdhar, Judge of Delhi High Court, has been promoted as Chief Justice of Himachal Pradesh High Court.

Justice Nitin Madhukar Jamdar, Judge of Bombay High Court, has been appointed Chief Justice of Kerala High Court. Justice KR Sriram of Bombay High Court has been made Chief Justice of Madras High Court.

Justice Suresh Kumar Kait promoted

Justice Indra Prasanna Mukherjee of Calcutta High Court has been appointed Chief Justice of Meghalaya High Court. Justice Tashi Rabstan of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh High Court has been made its Chief Justice. Justice Suresh Kumar Kait of Delhi High Court has been promoted as Chief Justice of Madhya Pradesh High Court.

1. Justice Manmohan (currently Acting Chief Justice of Delhi High Court) – Chief Justice of Delhi High Court.

2. Justice Rajiv Shakdhar (currently Judge of Delhi HC) – Chief Justice of Himachal Pradesh High Court.

3. Justice Suresh Kumar Kait (Judge of Delhi HC) – Chief Justice of Madhya Pradesh High Court.

4. Justice Indra Prasanna Mukherjee (Judge of Calcutta High Court) – Chief Justice of Meghalaya High Court.
