AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has hit back at RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat’s statement on giving more children. Owaisi said, “I want to ask Mohan Bhagwat what will he give to those who give birth to more children? Will he deposit Rs 1500 in the bank account of those who give birth to more children? Owaisi said, will he (Bhagwat) come up with a scheme to give birth to more children?” He said that when Mohan Bhagwat is trying to make one of his close aides the Chief Minister, he should bring a scheme for this.

Addressing a gathering in Malegaon, Owaisi said that the Prime Minister himself had said that those who have more children should take off their mangalsutra and wear another one. He says that Muslims are increasing the population a lot but they are defaming it. Now Mohan Bhagwat says to have three children. Owaisi said that the birth rate is the lowest in the Muslim community.

Bhagwat had talked about having 2-3 children

Mohan Bhagwat had expressed concern about the decline in population yesterday i.e. on Sunday. He said that the decline in population is a matter of concern. The population growth rate should be 2.1. If it is less than this, then it is a big danger for the society. The decline in population growth rate is not good for the society. The Sangh chief said that there should be two to three children and this is necessary to keep the society alive.

Population should not go below 2.1- Bhagwat
The RSS chief had said that when the population (fertility rate) of a society goes below 2.1, that society vanishes from the face of the earth. The population should not go below 2.1. Our country’s population policy was decided in 1998 or 2002. It also states that the population of a society should not go below 2.1.
