All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen (AIMIM) president Asaduddin Owaisi on Wednesday said the Pahalgam terror attack must be avenged and ‘Operation Sindoor’ must be continued. Addressing a public meeting organised in Telangana’s Bodhan town on Wednesday night to protest against the Waqf (Amendment) Act, he alleged that the Pahalgam terror attack was an example of security lapses by the Prime Minister Modi government. Owaisi targeted Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha for his alleged remarks taking responsibility for the security failure of the Pahalgam terror attack. Owaisi said, “Sinha is taking responsibility almost three months after the incident. If he is responsible for this, he should resign from his post.”
Asaduddin Owaisi’s statement
Pointing towards the Centre, the AIMIM president said, “Pahalgam must be avenged. Continue Operation Sindoor. We will question you until those four terrorists are caught who killed 26 Indians after asking their religion.” He said, “Pahalgam is a living example of the security lapse of the Modi government.” Let us tell you that on Wednesday, Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha said that the terrorists who carried out the Pahalgam attack have been identified and will be killed soon. Sinha, while giving a lecture on the topic ‘Jammu and Kashmir: Towards Peace’ at Gandhi Smriti, stressed that any attempt to disturb the peace in the Kashmir Valley will not succeed.
Manoj Sinha said – It is difficult for terrorists to stay alive now
Manoj Sinha said, “After the Pahalgam attack, Pakistan got a strong response through ‘Operation Sindoor’. The perpetrators of the attack have been identified and I can say with full confidence that it is difficult for them to stay alive now. Good news will definitely come, but it would not be appropriate to give any specific date.” Sinha said that in the last five years, the top bosses of various terrorist organizations are also no longer alive and they (terrorists) will also have the same fate. In an attack on April 22 in Pahalgam in Kashmir Valley, terrorists shot dead 26 people. Most of the people who lost their lives in the attack were tourists.
