Once again, there was a massive shooting in Miami, America in the early hours of Saturday, in which two people died. While seven others were injured. Investigators said a fight broke out around 3:30 a.m. at a martini bar in Doral, Florida.
Miami-Dade Police Detective Alvaro Zabaleta said that when a security guard intervened, a man pulled out a gun and shot and killed the guard. Two police officers deployed for security there retaliated in which one gunman was killed. Doral Police Chief Edwin Lopez told reporters that one officer was shot in the thigh in the shooting. Officials said six pedestrians, including four men and two women, were also injured in the firing.
The condition of 2 of the injured is critical.
The injured police officer has been released from the hospital, WTVJ-TV reported. Zabaleta said six pedestrians were still in hospital, two of whom were in critical condition. Lopez later told the Miami Herald that the two officers and the initial attacker were the only ones with guns. He said the Florida Department of Law Enforcement is investigating the shooting, while Miami-Dade police are investigating the deaths of two people. The slain gunman and security personnel have not yet been identified.
