This survey has been conducted for the first time after US President Joe Biden withdrew his name from the presidential election race in July and Kamala Harris became the candidate.
Harris is ahead of Trump
According to the survey, Kamala Harris (59) is ahead of former President Donald Trump (78) by 38 percentage points among Asian American voters. According to the survey, in the presidential election to be held in the US, 66 percent of Asian American voters can vote in favor of Kamala Harris while 28 percent can vote in support of Trump. There are also six percent voters who can vote for another candidate or are undecided.
Harris’s popularity increased
In the Asian American voter survey conducted between April and May this year in the US, 46 percent of Asian American voters were seen supporting President Biden while 31 percent of voters were in support of Trump. At the same time, there were 23 percent voters who were planning to vote for another candidate or were undecided. Harris’s popularity among Asian American voters has increased by 18 points. According to the survey, 62 percent of Asian American voters have a favorable opinion of Harris while 35 percent have an unfavorable opinion about her. According to the new survey, 28 percent of Asian American voters have a positive opinion about Trump while 70 percent of voters have a negative opinion about him.
