New York: Taking a major action against former US President Donald Trump and his Trump Organization, a fine of US $ 355 million has been imposed in a civil fraud case. The fine here has been imposed by a New York court. Trump has been barred from serving as a company director in New York state for three years. His sons Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump have also been asked to pay a fine of US $ 4 million each. He has been barred from acting as a director for two years.

The court has given a 90-page verdict against Trump in the fraud case. The trial, which ended in January, found Donald Trump and his two sons responsible for vastly increasing their assets. However, Trump and his sons have denied any wrongdoing. Former US President Donald Trump has termed the case as a “fraud on me” and a “political game”. Judge Arthur Engoron’s decision came after a month-long hearing.

The Attorney General’s office had requested the judge to ask Donald Trump to pay US$370 million. But the judge in his decision has asked to pay 355 million dollars.

Accusations against Trump and his sons
