Florida (USA): The US space agency NASA postponed the mission to take two astronauts to space with the Starliner capsule at the last moment. Both the passengers had already boarded the Starliner capsule to fly to space. The countdown for the flight had started, but in the last 50 seconds, a decision had to be taken to suddenly cancel this flight. Let us tell you that on Saturday, the launch of Boeing’s first flight carrying astronauts was postponed at the last moment due to a fault in the computer system.
Two astronauts of the US space agency NASA were aboard the company’s Starliner capsule when the computer system controlling the last minutes before the flight stopped the countdown itself at three minutes and 50 seconds. With little time left for the flight, there was no time to fix the problem and ultimately the launch was postponed. As soon as the launch failed, technicians rushed to take out astronauts Butch Wilmore and Sunita Williams aboard the capsule on the ‘Atlas V Rocket’ at the ‘Cape Canaveral Space Force Station’.
The flight attempt on May 6 also failed
Tory Bruno, the chief executive officer of rocket manufacturer United Lawns Alliance, said that the team could not access the computer system to fix the problem until all the fuel was removed from the rocket. After fixing the problem, the next launch attempt can be made by Wednesday morning. If this rocket is unable to fly in the coming week, then it will take till mid-June to remove the rocket from the pad and replace the batteries. This was the second launch attempt. The first attempt was made on May 6 but that too was postponed due to a valve problem. Due to problems in the capsule, Boeing’s first flight, pending for many years, has been delayed once again.
