Amethi: Police has solved the case of a married woman’s body found hanging from a noose inside her house in suspicious circumstances in Amethi Kotwali area of Uttar Pradesh. Police arrested the accused constable on Monday. Police gave this information. Police officials said that the accused constable had murdered the woman and tried to make it look like a suicide. Police issued a statement on Monday and informed about solving the mystery of the woman’s murder by arresting the accused constable Ravi Kumar in the case.
According to the police, the body of Alok Agrahari’s wife Divya Agrahari was found hanging from a noose on Saturday afternoon in a house located in front of Awas Vikas Colony. According to the police, during interrogation, the accused Ravi Kumar told that in the month of September, while on duty at ‘Dial 112’, he went to Divya Agrahari’s house on receiving information about a fight between her and her husband, and since then he was in contact with Divya Agrahari.
After murder, the body was hanged
According to the police, the accused told that for the past few days, there was a dispute between Divya Agrahari and the constable over personal matters, which was continuously increasing and on Saturday, the constable reached Divya Agrahari’s house after getting a chance, there was an argument between the two over personal matters. During this, the constable strangled her to death and made a noose from the deceased’s dupatta and hung the body from the door latch. After this, he took the deceased’s mobile and broke it and threw it away.
The police told that the deceased’s husband had accused the constable of murder in this case. Amethi’s Police Circle Officer (CO) Manoj Kumar Mishra had said on Saturday that the case is being investigated and action will be taken against whoever is found guilty. Divya’s husband Alok Kumar Agrahari had alleged that his wife’s body was hanging from the door latch, due to which no one could have died.
