Meloni gave a statement after Putin
According to a news channel, after meeting Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on the sidelines of a conference, Meloni said, “I believe that China and India should have a role in resolving the conflict. The only thing that cannot happen is to think that the conflict can be resolved by leaving Ukraine alone.” Meloni’s statement comes at a time when Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday named India among the three countries with whom he is in contact regarding the Ukraine conflict and said that they are making sincere efforts to resolve the issue.

What did Putin say

On Thursday, Putin said that China, India and Brazil could play the role of mediators in possible peace talks on Ukraine. Putin said that an initial agreement reached between Russian and Ukrainian negotiators during talks in Istanbul in the first week of the war, which never came into force, could become the basis for talks. He said that our aim is to capture the Donbass region of Ukraine. The Russian army is gradually driving the Ukrainian army out of the Kursk region.
