Amid the India-Pakistan tension, vigilance has been increased on the India-Bangladesh border. In this sequence, the Border Security Force has achieved great success. Based on intelligence input, the BSF has succeeded in arresting three Bangladeshi intruders and one Indian smuggler. This arrest has been made by the soldiers posted in Kishanganj sector. Apart from this, the investigation of this entire case has been handed over to the NCB team Siliguri.
On Thursday, the BSF arrested an Indian smuggler along with 4 Bangladeshi intruders in Kishanganj, Bihar, from whom a huge amount of drugs have been recovered. The arrested intruders have been identified as Hamidul (30), Tarikul Islam (30) and Ansarul, who are Bangladeshi citizens. At the same time, the Indian smuggler has been identified as Samsul Raja, who is a resident of North Dinajpur (West Bengal).

The BSF has recovered many drugs from them. More than 1500 Tendazole tablets, 782 bottles of codeine based Phensedyl syrup and 6 Deborin tablets have been seized from them. Apart from this, 5 mobile phones, charging cables and 2 adapters have been recovered from them. BSF has handed over further investigation in this entire case to NCB team Siliguri. In another case, BSF jawans on Wednesday caught a Bangladeshi citizen from the border area of Police Station Hilli, South Dinajpur (WB).

He was identified as Sujan Ghosh (30), who is a resident of Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. On searching, 2 Indian SIM cards and a 64 GB Samsung memory card were recovered from his possession. After this, he was handed over to the police of Hilli police station of South Dinajpur district for further investigation. Amidst India-Pakistan tension, BSF is also keeping a close watch on the Bangladesh border. NCB and police teams are engaged in investigating both these cases.
