The atmosphere in Jammu and Kashmir is colored with elections these days. Assembly elections are going to be held in the state after 10 years, before this elections were held in the year 2014. Amit Shah, while addressing the people of the state, said that the BJP government has decided that under the Maha Samman Yojana, the government will give Rs 18,000 every year to the senior-most woman in the family. Shah said that farmers are currently getting Rs 6,000 every year, but BJP will increase this amount to Rs 10,000. Speaking on the development of the state, the Union Minister said that if his government is formed, an international airport will be built in Jammu, as well as metro service will also be started.
Amit Shah’s attack on National Conference
The BJP leader said that the government will renovate 100 temples in Jammu and Kashmir every year, and will also work for the rehabilitation of displaced people. Targeting the National Conference party, he said that the candidates of this party threaten the people here. Shah said that no one needs to be afraid of them. After the counting of votes, all those who threaten will be held accountable.
After this, Shah made sharp attacks on Congress, National Conference and PDP. Addressing the public, he said that for years these parties snatched the rights of the people here, kept them away from democracy, did not allow the elections of Gram Panchayat, Block, District Panchayat. Shah said that these three families continued to rule in Jammu and Kashmir.

Praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP government, he said that the PM has shattered the dreams of these three families. Today, 30 thousand youth including Sarpanch, Block, District have become beneficiaries of democracy. Shah said that this is a big achievement for the state. The tunnel that has been built here has been built keeping the railway in mind, the day is not far when the people of Jammu and Kashmir will reach Delhi directly from here.
‘This is a historic election’
Amit Shah said that this is going to be the first election after the removal of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir. This election is being held after Dalits, backward classes, Gujjar Bakarwal and Paharis got reservation. Shah termed this election as historic. He said that this time Congress and National Conference are going to be wiped out. The voting percentage of the first phase shows that this time BJP will form the government in the state and democracy will win.
