Navneet Rana had reached Amravati on Saturday to hold a rally. There was a lot of ruckus in her rally. The angry crowd started throwing chairs. Navneet Rana claimed that the crowd also threw chairs towards her and she narrowly escaped.
“Chairs were thrown at me, abused”
On this matter, Navneet Rana said, seeing me, those people misbehaved with me. My police security guards were also beaten up. They beat me, they threw chairs at me. They abused me about my caste. They tried to spit on me. Navneet Rana further said, if the accused are not arrested, the entire Hindu society of Amravati district will gather at this place.
Navneet Rana lodged a complaint
A public meeting was organized to campaign for Yuva Swabhiman Party candidate Ramesh Bundile. Navneet Rana had reached to campaign in his support. After the uproar in the meeting, Rana has lodged a complaint at Khallar police station. Also, the BJP MP raised questions about the security arrangements in the meeting.
After this uproar, police force has been deployed in Khallar village. Police have registered a case against 45 people in this matter. Four people have been detained. Police are searching for the people who created the ruckus. Voting will be held on November 20 in a single phase for 288 seats in Maharashtra and the results will be declared on November 23.
