An 18-year-old man was stabbed to death in Delhi’s Gokulpuri area. Two boys committed the crime in Bhagirathi Vihar. Police have arrested the accused, both minors.
Both confessed to their crime
During the investigation, based on clues gathered, the police team arrested two minor accused, both around 17 years old, involved in the case. They confessed to their crime during interrogation. Both stated that they had a long-standing enmity with the deceased. Blood-stained clothes and the weapon of crime, a knife, were recovered at their location. Further investigation is underway.
Worked as a laborer in a scrap warehouse
Providing further details, the police said that on Thursday at approximately 4:54 pm, a report of a stabbing incident was received at the Gokulpuri police station. Upon arrival at the scene, Gali No. 6, Bhagirathi Vihar, it was discovered that the victim, who was approximately 18 years old, worked as a laborer in a scrap warehouse. His brother had already taken him to GTB Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
Forensic team collects evidence
Further investigation revealed that the victim was attacked by two men. A case was registered at Gokalpuri police station under sections 103(1)/3(5) of the BNS and 25/27 of the Arms Act. The forensic team examined the scene and collected evidence. The mystery behind the murder was revealed after the arrest of the two minor accused.
