A shocking incident has come to light from Kamareddy district of Telangana. An eighth-grade student died after jumping from a moving auto-rickshaw. Following the incident, the parents have accused the school of negligence. The entire incident was captured on CCTV cameras. The CCTV footage shows several students jumping out of the moving auto-rickshaw one by one. However, one of the students fell onto the concrete road, sustaining a serious head injury. She was rushed to the hospital, but doctors declared her dead.

Student Jumps from Moving Auto-Rickshaw
The incident took place in Banswada, Kamareddy district. A 13-year-old student of Telangana Social Welfare Residential School died on Sunday night after falling from a moving auto-rickshaw. The student’s family has accused the school of negligence in this matter. The family staged a protest and filed a complaint with the police. The student was a resident of Kodicherla village in Madannoor mandal and was a Class 8 student. The incident occurred at the girls’ residential school in Borlam village on Sunday evening at around 7:40 PM.

CCTV Footage Emerges
Officials said that an auto-rickshaw had come to the campus on Monday to deliver plastic chairs for the Republic Day program. The students helped unload the chairs. After unloading the chairs, four girls allegedly got into the auto-rickshaw for a ride to the school gate. According to Banswada police, the driver slowed down the auto near the gate to let the girls get off. However, the girls jumped out of the auto before it came to a complete stop. The CCTV footage shows three students jumping out of the auto.

Complaint Filed Against School Management
During this time, the victim student also jumped from the moving auto-rickshaw and fell onto the concrete road, sustaining a serious head injury. School staff took her to the government hospital in Banswada, where doctors declared her dead. The police are investigating the matter. According to the school management, these girls had requested the auto driver for a ride to the school gate. After getting into the auto-rickshaw, when the driver didn’t slow down, the girls got scared and jumped out of the moving vehicle one after another.
