Furthermore, the White Knight Corps posted on Twitter that vigilant White Knight Corps personnel recovered one weapon (AK series), four AK magazines, 20 hand grenades, and other ammunition in the Poonch sector during a joint intelligence-based search operation with the Jammu and Kashmir Police.
Pahalgam attack accused’s custody extended
The NIA court in Jammu has extended the custody period of two accused arrested for harboring Pakistani terrorists involved in the April Pahalgam terrorist attack by another 45 days, beyond the stipulated 90 days. Special NIA Judge Sandeep Gandotra on Thursday extended the remand period of Bashir Ahmed Jothat, a resident of Baisaran in Pahalgam, and Parvez Ahmed, a resident of Batkot in Pahalgam.
The court ruled in favor of extending the period of custody and investigation, considering the allegations, the progress of the investigation, and the pending forensic report. The order stated that the custody of the accused, Bashir Ahmed Jothat and Parvez Ahmed, is extended for another 45 days to investigate the case. The court directed that the investigation be completed as soon as possible.
