An old fire extinguisher kept in the S3 coach of the Anand Vihar-Guwahati North East Express, which was standing at Tundla station in Firozabad, suddenly exploded, causing panic.

An incident occurred at Tundla railway station in Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh. On Saturday, a fire extinguisher in the S3 coach of a train suddenly exploded with a loud bang. Smoke filled the train compartment after the incident, causing panic among the passengers. The incident took place on the Down North East Express, which was traveling from Anand Vihar to Guwahati.

According to reports, the incident occurred while the train was standing at Platform Number 6 of Tundla Railway Junction. According to RPF Station House Officer Awadhesh Goswami, shortly after the train stopped, an old fire extinguisher in the S3 coach exploded with a loud noise.

The explosion was so powerful that passengers inside the coach panicked, and several people rushed out. It is reported that the entire coach filled with smoke after the explosion, and the lower part of the fire extinguisher broke off and fell to the ground. Preliminary investigations revealed that the fire extinguisher was quite old, and the incident was caused by a buildup of pressure.

No casualties were reported.

Upon hearing the explosion, security personnel on the train and the RPF team stationed on the platform rushed to the scene and immediately began investigating the S3 coach. The investigation revealed that the fire extinguisher, located near the toilet, had exploded, causing the smoke to spread rapidly.
