Road Accident News: A horrific road accident took place in the early hours of Wednesday (May 15) on the Hyderabad-Vijayawada Highway in Bapatla district of Andhra Pradesh, in which six people died. A bus going from Bapatla to Hyderabad, the capital of Telangana, collided with a truck, due to which six people were burnt alive. 32 people have been injured in this road accident, who are undergoing treatment in the government hospital.
A video of this incident that took place in the southern state has also surfaced, in which the bus can be seen engulfed in flames. The fire caused by the collision was so severe that the bus and truck were completely burnt to ashes. The flames are rising very high. In another video, firefighters are also seen extinguishing the fire. It has been claimed that people were returning from Bapatla after casting their votes.
42 people were traveling in the bus at the time of the road accident.
Actually, a private bus was going from Chinnaganjam in Bapatla district to Hyderabad. Then the bus collided with a truck near Chilakaluripet mandal on Hyderabad-Vijayawada Highway. Immediately after the accident, both the vehicles caught fire. The injured told that 42 people were traveling in the bus at the time of the accident. Truck and bus driver died in this horrific accident on the highway. Four other people traveling in the bus also lost their lives.
An 8-year-old girl was also among those who lost their lives.
Information about people who lost their lives in road accidents has also come to light. The killed people are residents of Bapatla district. The deceased include 35-year-old bus driver Anji, 65-year-old Uppagundur Kashi, 55-year-old Uppagundur Lakshmi and 8-year-old girl named Mupparaju Khyati Sasri. Information about the remaining two people has not been revealed yet.
32 people have been injured in this accident. The injured were given first aid at the government hospital in Chilakaluripet town. After this he was transferred to Guntur for better treatment. Police has received information about the incident.
