A strange incident has happened in Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh. Here thieves dug up the entire sanctum sanctorum of a temple in search of treasure. The miscreants were digging inside the temple when the people in the neighborhood got wind of it. Local people informed the police about the incident. After this, the police reached the spot and detained nine miscreants who were digging the temple. The police is interrogating these miscreants. The matter pertains to Kambagiriswami temple in Gudipadu village in Yadiki mandal of Anantapur district.

The miscreants caught during police interrogation told that for a long time people have been saying that there is treasure buried under the Kambagiriswami temple. They accepted this rumor as true and to get this treasure, they started digging in the temple. According to the police, these miscreants were digging inside the temple when the people in the neighborhood came to know after hearing the sound of shovel.

After this the local people informed the police. After this, the police reached the spot and saw that nine miscreants were digging the sanctum sanctorum inside the temple. In such a situation, the police have detained all the people and seized the tools used in digging. According to the police, the mastermind of this incident is Chintakayla Shivagangaraj. He is very superstitious.

A gang was formed of relatives
He feels that in olden times people used to keep treasure hidden under the temple. In such a situation, he formed a gang with his close relatives and started searching for the treasure. In the same sequence, he came to know that there is treasure in the Kambagiriswami temple of Gudipadu village. After getting this information he attacked this temple on Saturday. Here he did not get the treasure, on the contrary he had to go to jail.
