Kurnool Superintendent of Police Vikrant Patil said, “Around 3 p.m., a Volvo bus belonging to Kaveri Travels was traveling from Hyderabad to Bengaluru. The bus collided with a two-wheeler, which became trapped underneath. This likely caused a spark and a fire. Since it was an air-conditioned bus, passengers had to break the windows. Those who were able to break the windows are safe. Eyewitnesses report that 25 people were burned to death.
