The round of allegations and counter-allegations continues between the ruling YSRCP and the opposition party TDP. Meanwhile, TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu has claimed that Rs 1 lakh will be given to Haj pilgrims if TDP, BJP and Janasena government comes to power in Andhra Pradesh. He made this claim while talking to the Muslim community in Nellore district.
Naidu said that immediately after the formation of the NDA government comprising TDP, BJP and Janasena in Andhra Pradesh, financial assistance of Rs 1 lakh will be given to Muslims going to Mecca. Similarly, Naidu stressed that the YSRCP government has extended unconditional support to the National Register of Citizens (NRC) and other initiatives of the Central government. The Muslim community is known for its faith, courage and hard work.
