Anil Tiger Shot Dead: Former Zila Parishad member and BJP leader Anil Mahto alias Anil Tiger was shot dead in broad daylight in Ranchi, Jharkhand. Anil Mahto was standing at a tea stall near Kanke Chowk when he was fired upon. The BJP leader died on the spot in the firing.
The police took action and arrested an accused involved in the murder. He was caught from Pithoria. The police has also recovered the bike used in the incident.
Shot at Kanke Chowk
Some miscreants carried out the firing incident in broad daylight, in which former Zila Parishad member Anil Tiger was shot on the temple. The incident took place at Kanke Chowk in Ranchi. He was hurriedly brought to RIMS in Ranchi, where doctors declared him dead. On receiving information about the incident, the police of Kanke police station reached the spot and started investigation. However, the criminals have not been identified yet.

After the firing incident, the local people jammed Kanke Chowk. The anger among the people was clearly visible. Despite such a huge crowd at Kanke Chowk, the criminals carried out the incident. The reason for his murder is not yet known.
BJP state president Babulal Marandi wrote in an Instagram post, “I am shocked to hear about BJP Ranchi Rural District General Secretary and former Zila Parishad member Anil Tiger being shot by criminals. Criminals are fearlessly attacking public representatives. The law and order situation in the state has completely collapsed, where neither public representatives nor common citizens are safe.”
Babulal Marandi demands resignation from Hemant Soren
Babulal Marandi further wrote, “When police officers do land business and get it done, give protection to land brokers, then such incidents are bound to happen. Taking moral responsibility of this incident, Chief Minister Hemant Soren should immediately resign. Ranchi Police should immediately arrest the criminals and ensure strict action.”

At the same time, BJP national executive member Deepak Prakash wrote, “Jungle Raj has been completely established in Jharkhand. Today, the incident of BJP leader and Ranchi rural district general secretary Anil Tiger being shot by criminals in broad daylight is extremely serious and unfortunate. It is clear from this that the Hemant government has surrendered in front of the criminals.”
Ranchi MLA CP Singh wrote on Instagram, “Law and order is completely destroyed in Jharkhand. BJP leader and former Zila Parishad member Anil Tiger was shot dead by criminals in broad daylight at Kanke Chowk. After all, till when will Jharkhand continue to drown in the sound of bullets like this?
